Thanksgiving Food Giveaway 2021

Hollywood and Ravenel, SC

This delicious and fresh food and vegetables from Costco and Food Lion. Chicken, 5 lbs. white rice, 24 count eggs, sweet potatoes, apples, oranges, bananas, carrots, canned corn, and canned green beans. This food helped families from Hollywood, Ravenel, and Edisto Island.

We were able to bless the families and staff at Edith L. Frierson Elementary School on Wadmalaw Island, SC.

We were able to bless the families and staff at Wide Awake Coffee Shop on July 1st with lots of groceries in time for the 4th of July celebration.

We partnered with Seacoast Church Johns Island to do a grocery giveaway, jump castle, and have a Smok’n Meats and BBQ food truck. Over 60 families were blessed through this event!

On August 15th, at the Meet the Teacher night at Frierson Montessori, we blessed many students with brand-new school uniforms and shoes. It was so wonderful to see how many families got ready for the new school year!

It is so blessed to be able to donate taco lunch to the staff at Edith L. Frierson Montessori school. God placed in our hearts to continue to donate for taco lunch monthly.

Thanksgiving Giveaway @ Ravenel on Saturday, Nov. 19th

We did a food giveaway for 100 low-income families and seniors from Hollywood, Ravenel, and Edisto Island on February 18th.

We did a food giveaway for 100 low-income families and seniors from Hollywood, Ravenel, and Edisto Island on April 1st.

We did a grocery giveaway for 100 low-income families and seniors from Hollywood, Ravenel, and Edisto Island on July 1st.

We served over 100 families and seniors with groceries for Thanksgiving. In total we gave over 2,000 lb. of food. The bags included fresh fruits and veggies, canned goods, gravy, rice, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, and much more. We are thankful to our 20 volunteers that helped to pack the bags.

The wonderful teachers and staff at Frierson were blessed with delicious BBQ from Smokn’ Meats & BBQ and desserts in partnership with Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

We did a grocery giveaway for over 100 low-income families and seniors from Hollywood, Ravenel, Edisto, and Meggett on March 23rd, 2024. The grocery bags were full of fresh fruits and veggies, chicken, eggs, canned and boxed goods.
